Senior .Net Software Engineer

OEC creates automotive technology, helping repair shops, auto part distributors, and manufacturers run their businesses more effectively and profitably. We increase efficiency across the automotive aftermarket, OEM, collision, mechanical, and supply chain spaces by connecting repair shops, dealers, parts distributors, and manufacturers.

We are hiring a Senior Engineer to help modernize the automotive ecosystem through technology. Our team builds scalable platforms that simplify payments, automate ordering processes, and connect dealers and mechanical shops with tire and wheel suppliers through an online marketplace. You will build new services, clean up weak areas in existing code, and help set technical direction.

What you will actually do

• Build and ship backend features in C# / .NET/
• Diagnose production issues across APIs, data, and integrations, then deliver permanent fixes.
• Design and implement integrations between internal services and external systems.
• Improve service performance, reliability, and operability in a cloud environment.
• Drive code quality through design reviews, PR feedback, and engineering standards.
• Partner with other engineers to break down and deliver complex platform work.

What we expect

• 5+ years building production software.
• Strong backend engineering experience with C# and .NET.
• Ability to work comfortably in a codebase that includes frontend/UI layers when needed.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Cloud knowledge is required; AWS is preferred.
• Git is required.

Nice to have

• CI/CD ownership experience.
• Docker/container-based workflows.
• Experience in platform or shared-services teams.

Tooling

• AI-assisted development is supported in daily work.
• Claude Code and GitHub Copilot are included and actively used by the team.

This is a hybrid role, working from the OEC Cracow office at least once a quarter is required.
