Sword Services Greece is an IT Services and Software Solutions provider, delivering innovative solutions to European public sector Organizations and leading private companies. As our portfolio continues to expand, we are growing our international teams with talented professionals who want to contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

We are currently looking for a Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development and continuous evolution of enterprise software solutions supporting mission-critical business operations. In this role, you will work closely with architects, analysts and development teams, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving software quality and technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle.


What you will do...

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise software solutions using modern development technologies.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable application designs and technical solutions.
  • Lead and mentor development teams, promoting best practices and high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and develop application architecture across the data, business logic and presentation layers.
  • Optimize software solutions with a focus on performance, security and maintainability.
  • Produce technical documentation and contribute to software architecture and design activities.
  • Estimate development effort and contribute to project planning and delivery.
  • Support software configuration management, releases and deployment activities.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance and change management processes.
  • Develop prototypes, testing tools and technical solutions to address business needs.


Technical Skills required...

  • Bachelor's degree (Level 6) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another ICT-related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant IT professional experience.
  • At least one internationally recognized software development certification relevant to the technology domain.
  • Experience delivering enterprise software solutions across the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong software development experience across the data, business logic and presentation layers.
  • Good knowledge of UML and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and mentor software developers.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and software design specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).

Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:

  • Experience developing mission-critical enterprise systems.
  • Experience working on asset management, human resources management and/or financial management solutions.
  • Experience with software configuration management and release processes.
  • Experience collecting and analysing software quality and performance metrics.
