Python & C# Backend Developer (Hibrido, Porto)

Join our team as a Backend Software Engineer and help develop and support risk and credit applications within a dynamic financial services environment.

In this role, you'll primarily work with Python (approximately 60–70% of your time), alongside C# for backend development, with occasional involvement in UI-related tasks. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and maintain reliable, high-quality solutions that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and test multiple application components.
• Gather, document, analyse and manage application requirements in an Agile environment.
• Challenge existing processes and propose improvements, particularly in performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with international delivery teams and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.

Requisitos mínimos

• Python, C#, SQL and T-SQL.
• ORM or micro-ORM experience, such as Dapper, and Web API development.
• Automated testing across unit, integration and functional levels, including pytest; NUnit or Selenium are also relevant.
• CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Git source-code management.
• XL Release and XL Deploy.
• English proficiency of at least B2.
• Autonomy, prioritisation, communication and workshop-facilitation skills.
