Hiring: SAP Developer / Global Support Manager – Cloud & Data Engineering Architect

Location: Remote (Must work Eastern Time business hours)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal Azure Cloud & Data Engineering Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting Azure-based integration platforms, designing enterprise data solutions, and integrating SAP/ERP applications using modern cloud technologies.

This role requires a technical leader who can drive cloud modernization initiatives, establish enterprise architecture standards, mentor engineering teams, and deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Azure cloud solutions.
• Design scalable cloud-native integration platforms supporting enterprise business applications.
• Build modern integration solutions using REST APIs, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
• Design enterprise data platforms using Azure Data Lake, Data Engineering, and analytics technologies.
• Develop architecture standards, governance frameworks, and technical best practices.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application development, enterprise architecture, and business teams.
• Drive DevOps, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, automation, and cloud operational excellence.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Mentor developers, architects, and engineering teams while promoting knowledge sharing and cloud best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure (AWS/GCP experience also considered).

• TOGAF (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture Certification).

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience).

Work Schedule

• Fully Remote.
• Must be available during Eastern Time business hours.
• Occasional onsite travel (approximately 2–4 business days per month) may be required based on project needs.
