Role Overview
Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in San Mateo, CA to develop, maintain, and improve the application framework that powers the user experiences on the PlayStation console.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience designing and implementing application frameworks. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience working with C/C++/C#, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Git, SVN, Jenkins and automation tools; performing application framework optimization and technical specification development; debugging and profiling using automation tools; performing codebase maintenance; providing CI/CD support and performance optimization; identifying bottlenecks in the build pipeline and proposing solutions to reduce turnaround time; leveraging automation tools to integrate deliverables with the company proprietary system; implementing automated jobs to improve developer efficiency; and maintaining and ensuring the quality of the code base and implement testable code. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$212,853.00 – $289,900.00/year
