C#.Net Full Stack Developer

Join our international software engineering team and help build payment and fare-management systems used by public transport operators around the world.
You will work on business-critical applications covering ticketing, customer management, payment processing and account-based travel. The role combines modern full-stack development with the integration and modernization of established systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain full-stack software solutions for public transport systems.
- Build and enhance backend services and REST APIs using C# and modern .NET.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular.
- Work on systems supporting fare management, payment transactions, customer administration and ticketing.
- Integrate external applications, web portals and payment platforms, including smart-card, credit-card and mobile-payment solutions.
- Analyse complex business and technical requirements and turn them into practical, maintainable software.
- Contribute to technical design decisions, code reviews, automated testing and continuous integration.
- Work closely with engineering teams in Ireland, Karlsruhe and Seattle, as well as with international customers.
- Support the continued modernization of existing .NET applications and services.
- More than three years of professional software-development experience.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with relational databases.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework, ideally Angular.
- A good understanding of object-oriented design, clean code and software-development best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (mainly to the HQ in Karlsruhe, Germany)
- A practical, responsible approach to solving technical problems.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platforms.
- Cloud-native application development.
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
- Payment systems, ticketing platforms or other transactional systems.
- Modernizing or migrating established .NET applications.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field is welcome, but equivalent professional experience is equally valued.
- Work on software used in real-world public transport systems.
- A varied role covering backend, frontend, integrations and payment technology.
