P&L Product Control Associate

You will support SPG trading desks by ensuring daily P&L reporting, balance sheet support, and month-end close procedures are executed accurately. You will provide financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management, while partnering with Financial Controllers and coordinating across front and back office support functions to strengthen controls and deliver timely resolution of control and reporting issues.
Job Responsibilities
- You will assist with daily P&L reporting.
- You will support month-end close processes to ensure accurate results.
- You will provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management.
- You will partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives.
- You will coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time.
- You will handle daily ad-hoc analysis and project support for Product Control.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area.
- Experience performing P&L reporting and month-end close processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a strong control focus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.
- Solid understanding of financial products.
