Job Description:
The Software Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and verification of software used in NeuWave Medical's ablation technology platform. This individual will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an FDA-regulated environment, including requirements development, software design, risk analysis, verification, and documentation. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality medical device software.
Skill Set Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience developing applications in C#/.NET within a Windows environment.
- Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
- Experience using software debuggers, emulators/simulators, performance monitors, and profiling tools.
- Experience working within regulated product development/design control environments (medical device preferred).
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Able to work onsite in Madison, WI.
Nice to Haves:
- Medical device industry experience.
- Medical image processing experience.
- Microsoft SQL Server/database administration.
- Client/server architecture experience.
- Software Verification & Validation (V&V) protocol development.
- Design FMEA experience.
- FDA design controls/documentation experience.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
Education/Certification(s)/License(s):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related software-focused discipline (required).
- No additional certifications or licenses required.
