Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance secure, enterprise-grade applications that support mission-critical financial services. Working within Agile Scrum teams, you will collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software that is scalable, reliable, and secure. Your contributions will directly improve digital experiences used by global financial institutions while driving engineering excellence and continuous innovation.

Your Daily Tasks

Feature Delivery

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to understand product requirements
• Work with developers across teams and architects on system design, coding, and unit testing
• Coordinate closely with QA teams on browser-based automation

Required Proficiencies

• Leverage the latest cloud and database technologies to develop accurate and responsive APIs for existing and new products
• Work with the product team to iterate on business logic and validation
• Work as part of an independent, cross-functional squad to deliver critical client-facing and administrative portal features across the organization
• Build reusable and testable code to drive engineering maturity and efficiency
• Promote quality through a strong focus on software testing

The Qualifications We Seek

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level, n-tier software solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft C#
• In-depth experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), server technologies, and service-oriented architecture (SOA); microservices experience is an advantage
• Experience with database design and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience using ORM tools
• Experience delivering software that is correct, stable, and security compliant
• Basic understanding of common AWS services (e.g., S3, CloudFront) and how they can be applied to solve business problems
• Financial services experience is strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, and related technologies
• Thorough understanding of unit, integration, and API performance testing
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, innovate, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills
