About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our growing engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code for new features and systems.
• System Design & Architecture: Participate in the design of scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit, integration, and system testing; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and advocate for best coding practices and standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and applications.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers (especially for SDE-2/SDE-3 levels).
• Continuous Improvement: Propose upgrades to existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5+ years of professional software development experience.

Required Skills

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.
• Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
