Database Engineer (MS SQL)

We're looking for an experienced Database Engineer (MS SQL) to design, develop, and optimise SQL Server solutions that power business-critical applications. You'll play a key role in improving data quality, automating database processes, and ensuring reliable, high-performance data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Automate data quality and reconciliation processes
• Develop and optimise SQL-based data processing, validation, and monitoring solutions
• Investigate data issues and implement reliable technical fixes
• Support Pub/Sub integrations and migration from Azure Pipelines to GitHub Actions
• Contribute to the onboarding of new applications and data flows
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong hands-on, 5 or more years, experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL development, stored procedures, functions, views, and query optimisation
• Proven experience in analysing, reconciling, and troubleshooting complex data issues
• Experience designing and maintaining database objects and implementing performance improvements
• Understanding of database automation, scripting, and CI/CD practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
• Experience with Java, C#, or Python is considered a strong advantage
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Azure Pipelines would be nice-to-have

Salary range - from 5000 EUR to 6500 EUR monthly before taxes.
