The Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital-first, data-led smart regulator by delivering a secure, agile, and cost-effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions, transparency, and operational efficiency. Sitting within DTI, the Digital Delivery Hub digitally transforms the FCA’s regulatory services to efficiently meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality digital solutions by guiding development activity, mentoring colleagues and strengthening team capability to achieve successful outcomes
  • Take ownership of technical incidents, support issues and defect resolution to ensure reliable services and minimise disruption for users
  • Deliver development artefacts aligned to product requirements, enabling the creation of scalable and effective digital products that meet business needs
  • Champion engineering best practice by leading initiatives that enhance ways of working and contribute to a growing community of practice across the organisation
  • Influence wider engineering strategy by sharing technical insight and identifying opportunities to improve development standards and delivery capability
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting agile ways of working, collaboration and ongoing professional development across the team
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of digital delivery, contributing to high-profile projects that support organisational objectives and improve outcomes for consumers
  • Build technical and regulatory expertise while benefiting from flexible working, a supportive environment and an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and innovation
