Senior Software Engineer (C++, Onsite)
Indexed description
Are you ready to be a part of the development of a medical device?
At Kivi Technologies, we are developing next-generation 3D scanning systems for dentistry. As a startup located at ITU Ari Teknokent, we are seeking a C++ Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional development and product-level coding experience.
In this role, you will work across the full span of our scanner software, from the real-time, multi-threaded engine that turns raw sensor data into high-precision digital models, to the Qt application. This is a role for a strong C++ developer who wants to solve real problems in a real product.
You will be both responsible for maintaining our existing application and developing new GUI functionality with Qt (Qt Core, Qt GUI, Qt Widgets, signal-slot architecture) , while also contributing to the 3D pipeline itself: structured light decoding, camera calibration, triangulation, 3D reconstruction, mesh manipulation and computational geometry.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, MSc or PhD degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, Physics or Applied Mathematics.
- 3+ years building high-performance C++ systems with strong command of memory management, concurrency, and performance profiling.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Qt and its signal-slot architecture.
- Practical experience with multi-threaded applications.
- Working knowledge of Computer Vision and Image Processing fundamentals, and solid foundations in Linear Algebra and 3D coordinate transformations.
- Ability to design maintainable, modular codebases and a "clean code" mentality.
- Experience with Git.
- Self-driven and able to execute with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3D graphics programming experience (OpenGL, Vulkan or DirectX) or familiarity with game engine internals.
- Experience with CUDA (or OpenCL) for parallelizing compute-heavy algorithms.
- Knowledge in meshing, 3D surface reconstruction, localization and mapping, or related areas.
- Ability to digest academic papers and implement complex math into production-ready software.
- Experience with CMake, CI/CD pipelines, and performance profiling tools (e.g., NVIDIA Nsight).
- Mindset for creativity, emerging technologies and for seeing priorities from a user perspective.
What We Offer
- The chance to work with a highly motivated, elite engineering team.
- Real problems. Work on real-time 3D reconstruction on custom hardware for medical-grade precision.
- Competitive salary with a significant bonus scheme and vesting opportunities.
- Direct impact on the product roadmap at an early-stage, cross-functional startup.
Being a part of the cross-functional and open-minded team at an early stage and taking on significant architectural ownership, you will get a great opportunity for hands-on experience in solving the technical challenges required to industrialize this technology.
