Software Engineer - Electronic Trading Analyst

We are partnering with our client in New York to attract a skilled C#/.NET Software Engineer to join their Fixed Income electronic trading team. This is a permanent role within a high-impact environment, building and enhancing cutting-edge trading tools that support dealer-to-client and inter-dealer trading across global Fixed Income markets. You'll work closely with traders, sales, and senior technologists, playing a key role across the full software development lifecycle for mission-critical, time-sensitive trading applications.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Advanced C# and .NET: Designing and building real-time trading and pricing components on both client and server side.

  • Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns (including MVVM): Creating robust, maintainable architectures for complex trading workflows.

  • Git-based Source Control: Managing code versions and collaborating effectively with our client's team.

  • Agile / Scrum: Working in iterative delivery cycles and aligning with continuous delivery practices.

  • Dependency Injection & Entity Framework: Building modular, testable services and efficient data access layers.

  • CI/CD (TeamCity, Jenkins): Following established pipelines for build, test, and deployment into production.

  • Multithreaded / Concurrent Systems: Handling high-throughput, low-latency trading operations safely and efficiently.

  • Fixed Income Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding products and market structure to better translate trading needs into technical solutions.

  • Electronic Trading Platforms (Preferred): Prior exposure to venues such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, BrokerTec or similar.
