SCG is a leading ASEAN business group with more than a century of industrial excellence across Cement & Building Materials, Chemicals, Packaging, and International Business.

As SCG continues to strengthen its China business platform, we are looking for a curious and hands-on technology talent to develop applications, improve business systems, and support digital transformation across our operations.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building practical software solutions, solving business problems through technology, and working with cross-functional teams in an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve software applications that support business operations.

• Work with users and internal teams to design system features, workflows, integrations, and digital solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot application issues, system errors, and user-reported problems.

• Support integration with databases, APIs, ERP systems, and other business applications.

• Explore new technologies and automation opportunities that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

• 0–3 years of software development experience; fresh graduates with strong project or internship experience are welcome.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or related technologies.

• Familiarity with databases, APIs, web applications, modern frameworks, and software development practices.

• Knowledge of Git, version control, testing, debugging, and Agile ways of working.

• Good problem-solving skills, learning agility, and ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.

• Able to communicate professionally in Mandarin Chinese and English.
