Principal Responsibilities
- Develop applications in Java or Python or Rust.
- Analyze and optimize existing ETL pipelines for performance and maintainability.
- Design and implement end-to-end microservices-based reporting services, including:
- Ectracting and augmenting data from exrenal sources (Oracle, PostgreSQL, messaging systems such as Kafka, MQ, Pub-Sub, Solace, FTP, NAS)
- Performing complex data trasnformations and enrichment.
- Publishing downstream data via real-time messaging (Kafka, Pub-Sub, Solace, MQ), SFTP, NAS, or databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and workload resilience to reduce recurring maintenance costs and support business growth.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, and production support teams globally to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business practices, system capabilities, and emerging technologies.
- Coordinate across region
- Proven experience building multi-tier, microservices-based applications.
- Deep expertise in Java (Streams, Lambdas, Optional, Functional Interfaces, Annotations).
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, MongoDB, Redis).
- Proficiency with messaging systems (Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub, JMS, Solace, MQ, Google Pub/Sub).
- Strong DevOps & CI/CD skills: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- Experince with high performance computing
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
- Experience with at least one testing framework (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, WireMock, Pytest, Unittest, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to take on business analysis responsibilities as needed.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and a keen sense of ownership throughout the SDLC.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
- Appetite for leadership
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience working in Fixed Income, with knowledge of Rates & Credit products (Bonds, IRS, CDS).
- Experience with pricing and/or risk management of financial products.
- Relevant certifications in Java, cloud, or DevOps technologies.
