Role: IT Systems Engineer/Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer III / Senior Full Stack Developer to support a mission-critical, cloud-native web platform used for storm response, field operations, and electric grid asset management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern web applications using Angular, Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Python, and AWS.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Node.js/NestJS
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation/CDK)
• PostgreSQL and REST API development
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Agile development and DevOps practices

Preferred Skills

• GIS/Interactive Mapping
• Progressive Web Apps (PWA) / Offline-first applications
• Generative AI (RAG) or AI-powered applications
• Power BI
• React or Vue experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Build cloud-native applications and REST APIs on AWS
• Develop interactive mapping and reporting features
• Support offline-capable applications for field users
• Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Integrate enterprise systems using modern APIs
• Provide Level 3 production support and participate in Agile ceremonies
