To support our Team in Vienna, we have an immediate opening for an


Oracle Developer (f/m/d)


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Develop lottery systems throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and integration, in close collaboration with developers of other system components
  • Maintain, support, test, and provide operational assistance for assigned systems
  • Take ownership of assigned software components and ensure their quality, stability, and maintainability throughout their lifecycle
  • Follow established development standards, methodologies, and processes, including ISO 9000, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development environment, engineering tools, and development processes
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, and conduct internal training sessions to introduce system functionalities and share knowledge with colleagues as required


Requirements:


  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL
  • Familiarity with Linux, Oracle Forms, and Oracle PL/SQL is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, ideally gained in complex software environments
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Very good German and English communication skills
