To support the TriboForm team, we are looking for an

Junior Software Engineer (m/f) – 40%-100%

The TriboForm (TF) solver generates friction libraries which are used when simulating the sheet metal forming process in AutoForm. The TF solver is a stand-alone code written in MatLab. To integrate the TF Solver in the TF Analyzer, which visualizes the TF libraries, the MatLab code must be restructured and ported. In addition, build-in MatLab functionality must be replaced. In this process you will collaborate closely with the TF application engineers.

Your tasks

  • Integration of the TF solver in the TF Analyzer GUI
  • Validation of the software components developed
  • Maintenance and further development of the TF Analyzer
  • Provide support to the other development team members

Your profile

  • Bachelor`s degree in computer science
  • Good programming skills in C#
  • Experience in programming of own apps is a plus
  • Strong technical interest, willingness to get involved in complex technical issues
  • Team Player with a strong commitment to problem solving
  • Good knowledge of English required.

This role is based in Enschede, the Netherlands. The duration at 100% workload is 6 months. After this period, it is possible to continue at a workload of 40%.
