Senior Developer - Capital Markets Technology (C++ / C# · Azure · Summit)

We’re looking for a Senior Developer (:5+ years’ experience) who takes ownership, solves complex problems independently, and contributes to raising the technical bar across the team.

What you’ll do:

• Design and build high-performance components in C++ and C# within the Summit platform.
• Own integrations between Summit and surrounding systems, including Azure-based data platforms.
• Translate requirements from trading, risk, and operations into robust technical solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of components, making design decisions and collaborating across systems when needed.
• Support and mentor other developers through sparring, reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in C++ and/or C# in complex, business-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, performance, and integration patterns.
• Experience working with trading or risk platforms (e.g., Summit, Calypso, or similar).
• Experience with or strong interest in Azure-based integrations, data services, and cloud-native development patterns.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly with both engineers and business stakeholders.

• Experience with real-time or data-intensive systems.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, APIs, messaging, or data pipelines in a cloud environment.

As part of this role, you will help shape and modernize a core capital markets platform that supports business-critical trading, risk management, and operational processes. You will work with complex financial systems where quality, performance, and engineering decisions have a direct and visible impact. With significant technical ownership, you will play an active role in influencing the platform’s future development alongside the surrounding IT landscape and cloud-based data services. You will collaborate closely with experienced business specialists, architects, and developers in a team that values practical solutions, knowledge sharing, and strong technical judgment. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to build deep expertise in capital markets technology and pursue a clear path toward architecture and technical leadership.

Your new team

Markets Technology is responsible for developing and operating Nykredit’s sell-side capital markets platform. You will join a team of around 30 skilled and dedicated colleagues working across the full capital markets value chain - from trading and risk to operations and platform development. The team works closely with business specialists, architects, infrastructure partners, and other technology teams to ensure stable, scalable, and future-ready solutions. We combine deep domain knowledge with strong engineering practices and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems in a regulated financial environment.

The position can be based in either Copenhagen or Warsaw.
