Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager / Technical Lead to act as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to the Development Lead. This is a leadership-focused role centered on architecture, technical governance, and engineering excellence rather than day-to-day software development.

You will guide the development team, help shape technical direction, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions while working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Development Lead to make sound technical and architectural decisions.
• Analyze business and customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Define, maintain, and evolve the software architecture.
• Evaluate solution designs, technical approaches, and implementation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team.
• Support feature planning, estimation, and prioritization from a technical perspective.
• Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Ensure consistency in technical direction across the development team.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Identify technical risks, particularly within legacy applications, and develop practical mitigation and modernization strategies.
• Drive technical quality, governance, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Required Technical Skills:

• Expert-level experience with:
• .NET / C#
• Software Architecture (including Clean Architecture principles)
• Blazor
• Modern Web UI frameworks
• Backend technologies, APIs, and services
• REST and SOAP integrations
• Microsoft SQL Server and SQL development
• Proven experience working with and modernizing legacy systems.
• Strong understanding of:
• Software design principles and architectural patterns
• Coding standards and best practices
• Technical governance and quality assurance
• Scalable, maintainable software design
