  • Geographic information systems, spatial analysis, and map server infrastructure
  • Maintain a performance oriented GeoServer and database
  • Create new features based on specification
  • Actively take part in the system design
  • Optimize data flows, build automated data piplines

What Qualifications You Should Have

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, or comparable
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in .NET Backend engineering and hands on experience with geo data
  • Proficient with geospatial .NET libraries (such as NetTopologySuite) for spatial data manipulation
  • Strong PostGIS experience, including spatial indexing (GiST), complex SQL geometric queries, and coordinate system (EPSG) transformations
  • Practical knowledge of GeoServer (REST API management, layer styling via SLD, and caching) and OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS, Vector Tiles)
  • Experience building automated data pipelines utilizing GDAL/OGR via C# wrappers or command-line integration
  • Very good English and Hungarian language skills,s written and spoken (C1-C2 Hungarian is an advantage)
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate good level of self-initiatives
  • Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure
  • Very good cooperational skills
  • Willingness to travel in Europe for business
