As a member of our Corporate Actions team, you’ll join 7 software engineers and 10 business analysts based across 5 countries, working on advanced systems for processing complex financial events. You’ll work with a modern .NET Core stack and cloud-native technologies, designing robust solutions that automate and streamline corporate action workflows for major financial instruments.

You will
As a part of the team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using C# and .NET Core. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and contribute to the team's collective success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and optimising RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Managing data with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
- Integrating and supporting messaging solutions using IBM MQ and Rabbit MQ.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Containerising and deploying applications using Docker, AWS, and OpenShift.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems with Prometheus, ELK (Elasticsearch, Kibana), and Grafana.
- Designing, implementing, and executing performance and load tests to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and SOLID principles.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and best practice adoption.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and a cross-functional agile team—sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and driving high-quality outcomes.
- Help grow and upskill Software Engineering colleagues.
- Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and team goals.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET backend development and REST APIs.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS, and OpenShift for containerisation and cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in integrating with enterprise messaging systems such as IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Razor Pages and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with GitHub and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.
- Advanced skills in writing unit tests, integration tests (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest), and using performance testing tools.
- A good grasp of software design patterns and best practices.
- Excellent skills in writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Experience mentoring and guiding colleagues to improve their technical skills.
- A willingness to learn and improve constantly, coupled with a positive attitude.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
The workplace is in Copenhagen. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, with at least 3 days in the office).
