The Opportunity

We are looking for a Founding Software Engineer who wants to help build a company from zero.

This is not a typical job.

This is a founding partner role structured around equity ownership, not salary during the early stage. The expectation is that the founding engineering team builds the first generation of products, proves market traction, and participates directly in the upside of the company.

You will work directly with the founder to:

• design the platform architecture

• build the first production systems

• launch MVP products

• iterate quickly based on real user feedback

• help establish the engineering culture of the company

If things go well, you will have helped build a real company and will own a meaningful piece of it.

What You’ll Work On

Early responsibilities will likely include:

• Building backend systems and APIs for SaaS platforms

• Designing scalable architecture for multi-product environments

• Developing core infrastructure and product frameworks

• Rapidly prototyping MVP products and shipping quickly

• Implementing automation and data-driven features

• Helping define the long-term technical roadmap

Expect to move fast and solve ambiguous problems.

Compensation Structure

This role is equity-based during the early stage.

Compensation includes:

• Meaningful equity ownership in Streamwalkers• 4-year

vesting schedule with 1-year cliff (industry standard)

• Opportunity to transition to salary + equity after funding or revenue milestones

The goal is to align incentives around building long-term company value rather than short-term employment.

Technical Qualifications:

You should have strong experience with:

• Backend web development and API architecture

• Object-oriented programming and system design

• Modern programming languages (Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)

• Building scalable SaaS applications or distributed systems

• Database design and performance optimization

Bonus experience:

• Startup or early-stage product development

• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• DevOps and CI/CD systems

• AI/automation frameworks

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Experience working in early-stage startups or building MVP products
