Full Stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a full-stack .NET Software Engineer for one of our clients in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rate Range: $50.00/hour to $55.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing team in a hybrid work environment, with three days per week onsite and two days remote. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building scalable applications, working across the full technology stack, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using Microsoft technologies. You will work in an Agile environment, contributing to both front-end and back-end development efforts while helping to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Please note, we cannot work on C2C basis for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and development team members to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Create technical design documentation based on business and functional requirements.
• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data integrations using SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Build and enhance user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, and related front-end technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and application support activities.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with C# development.
• 3+ years of experience working with .NET Core 3.1, .NET 6, or .NET 8.
• 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET development.
• 3 years of experience using LINQ.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and T-SQL.
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server and/or database design.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, jQuery, or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
• Ability to create technical and design documentation from business requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience using JIRA, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
