What You Will Do
- Resolve incidents by selecting the most efficient solutions considering time and effort requirements, including potential enhancements that may necessitate development work.
- Provide escalation-level support, taking ownership of complex or high-impact incidents through to their resolution.
- Monitor business applications systems, executing preventive and corrective actions in response to alerts, planned maintenance, risk incidents, and other relevant events.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, guiding solution design and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to support existing systems and coordinate system upgrades as required.
- Identify recurring issues and proactively develop and share knowledge articles or automate solutions where appropriate.
- Experience: You have 5+ years of relevant experience supporting business systems and integrations with Microsoft technologies, preferably in a financial or investment management firm. Experience working in an institutional investment firm is an asset.
- Knowledge: You are proficient troubleshooting and debugging .NET/C# code, Angular, querying and maintaining MS SQL databases, as well as developing enhancements using MS SQL and .NET/C#, you demonstrate knowledge of web certificate management and website configuration. You can understand and solve issues using scripting languages and PowerShell. Azure DevOps, CMS experience, and knowledge of Fabric and Microsoft Power platform are a plus.
- Tech Savvy: You have a strong background in supporting both custom developed and COTS systems (including cloud-based systems). You are resourceful and have advanced troubleshooting skills. You have a passion for technology, learning new languages, and concepts.
- Analytic & Strategic: You possess an analytical mind, enjoy solving problems, and have an ability to perform deep thoughtful analysis to discover solutions.
