Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join their engineering team supporting enterprise identity and database access management solutions. This role will focus on developing and maintaining modern .NET applications, building RESTful APIs, and supporting cloud-native infrastructure as the organization transitions from OpenShift to Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).

Local candidates in the Buffalo, NY area who can work onsite are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise .NET applications
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services
• Develop solutions using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET/.NET Core
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases
• Support the migration of applications from OpenShift to Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience developing applications with .NET
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience developing microservices-based applications
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience with OpenShift and/or Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
• Experience working within cloud-native application environments
• Local to the Buffalo, NY area and available to work onsite
