Role Description The AI Architect with Microsoft role is a full-time, on-site position based in Brisbane, QLD. This role is responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end AI architectures leveraging Microsoft technologies (such as Azure AI services, Azure Machine Learning, and related cloud components) to support advanced HR solutions. The AI Architect will collaborate with HR domain experts, software developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, oversee solution integration with existing HR platforms, and ensure security, reliability, and performance. Daily tasks include architectural planning, hands-on development and prototyping, guiding integration efforts, reviewing technical deliverables, and providing technical leadership across AI projects. The role also involves ongoing optimization of AI systems, documentation of architectural decisions, and contributing to best practices and governance for AI adoption within The HR Ally and client environments.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including experience defining scalable, secure, and resilient AI and cloud solutions on Microsoft platforms.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with proficiency in relevant programming languages (such as C#, Python, or .NET) and experience building AI-enabled applications and services.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, including designing and implementing APIs, data pipelines, and integrations between AI services, HRMS platforms, and other enterprise systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including the ability to lead technical workstreams, manage timelines and priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps) and cloud solution design is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, security, and compliance in AI solutions, particularly in HR or people analytics contexts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
