Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and high-quality software solutions for our digital warehouse platform.
• Collaborate with product management to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable software solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Conduct thorough software quality assurance activities, including writing and executing test cases and identifying defects.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• 3+ years of experience delivering software engineering related projects.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Demonstrated experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA), including test automation and various testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Product Management concepts and experience collaborating effectively with product teams.
• Experience with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
