Senior .NET Backend Engineer
About the Role
NED league is looking for a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services for DC microgrid platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software while contributing to architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate closely with QA to support testing, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Review code, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
- Strong experience in designing and building REST APIs.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modelling.
- Experience writing unit tests and working with QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Experience with Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, testing, and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Redis or Azure Service Bus.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), or CQRS.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
Tech Stack: .NET 8, C#, Azure, SQL Server, Docker, Redis, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
