Job Description

You will lead, develop, and implement a comprehensive Global Affairs strategy for Ukraine, aligned with the global strategy. 

The mission is to protect the business and build a strong brand and corporate reputation while maximizing Glovo’s positive impact on society, foreseeing any potential risks and proactively looking for impactful projects. 

Ukraine is still in the active phase of regulation for the platforms, and Glovo as one of the key players of the industry, is taking an active part in it.

Your role will be to build our reputation as a leading and innovative tech company, while making sure we are closely aligned with business objectives, market growth and are fully compliant.

You will lead a high-performing Global Affairs team, setting clear objectives, nurturing talent, fostering growth, and effectively managing resources to deliver impactful results. 

In the Journey You Will: 

• Collaborate with consultancies, think tanks, and other key sources to gain a robust understanding of the opportunities and risks affecting Glovo in Ukraine

• You will personally lead engagement with senior stakeholders, act as a spokesperson to media where necessary and contribute to high-impact policy discussions.

• Act as a key liaison across various internal departments (Marketing, Legal, Operations, etc.) to ensure cross-departmental alignment on strategies that address the most pressing issues, aligned with business performance. 

• Work with your team to deliver in-depth analysis of the local stakeholder environment, identifying key relationships in the regulatory, administrative, media and social spheres. 

• Spot the right opportunities to set and implement an ambitious Impact & Sustainability plan that will not only drive positive change but also reduce our negative footprint. 

• Draw on global toolkits and data sources to align the I&S strategy with our core business and global I&S plan, taking local specificities into account and working with our Impact Ambassadors to execute good and fast.

• Oversee and plan the budget allocation to the country from the Impact fund, making sure it enables impactful and scalable outputs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior-level Corporate Affairs or a senior management position, preferably within a complex, fast-paced environment.

• Background engaging with senior regulatory and policy stakeholders, as well as good understanding of how law enforcement agencies work.

• Exceptional ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and inspire them to deliver high-impact outcomes.

• Strong expertise in building strategies that build from business needs. 

• Hands-on, proactive and creative to come up with differentiating strategies. 

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to manage a broad spectrum of stakeholders—both internal and external to the organization. 

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and apply learnings strategically.

• Fluency in English and Ukrainian

• Driven but humble.

• Basic knowledge of labor law and consumer law.
