Job Summary

Accelyst is seeking a .NET / SQL / Crystal Reports to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise software applications and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL development, Crystal Reports, stored procedures, database development, Forms, Power Apps, and application services.

The Developer will work across in-house, vendor, and commercial software solutions, supporting application development, system upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Must Be Local to Metro Atlanta.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and assist in developing detailed application specifications.
• Design, develop, build, maintain, and enhance Crystal Reports, Widgets, Forms, Power Apps, and .NET applications/services.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, views, triggers, transactions, and database objects.
• Design and support Microsoft SQL Server database solutions and relational database structures.
• Analyze customer information needs, business problems, and business opportunities to determine efficient and effective application and programming solutions.
• Serve as an IT subject matter expert for assigned applications and business areas.
• Provide development and technical support for assigned applications, systems, and projects.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and enhance existing software applications to ensure reliable business operations.
• Design, code, compile, debug, document, test, and implement software applications based on business requirements.
• Develop applications using C#/.NET and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using Crystal Reports.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business users, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Participate in a team environment and take both lead and supporting roles depending on project requirements.
• Ensure quality development, implementation, documentation, and ongoing operation of assigned applications.
• Research technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective application and database solutions.
• Support application upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and production issues.
• Follow established development standards, version control practices, documentation standards, and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field; alternatively, 5+ years of relevant application development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on application development experience preferred.
• Strong experience developing applications and database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced SQL development skills, including:
• SQL Queries
• Stored Procedures
• Functions
• Views
• User Defined Functions (UDF)
• Tables and Table Structures
• Triggers
• Transactions
• Table Variables
• Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
• Strong experience with Crystal Reports development and maintenance.
• Experience with application, report, and form development tools.
• Strong understanding of .NET Framework / .NET web technologies.
• Proficiency with C# / C#.NET and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with software development, debugging, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with code versioning and development tools, including Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to research, analyze information, identify problems, and develop logical and effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI Services.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience developing enterprise reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare or hospital EHR processes and workflows.
• Experience with eMAR, order entry, medication dispensing, assessments, and ADT processes.
• Knowledge of MyAvatar, RxConnect, and Dentrix applications is highly desirable.
• Experience working with healthcare or behavioral health technology environments.
• Experience supporting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), vendor, and internally developed applications.
