We're looking for a Software Engineer with a strong computer science foundation and project-oriented mindset to join a growing engineering team. This role focuses on developing and supporting enterprise software solutions, modernizing legacy applications, integrating business systems, and strengthening server, database, and automation capabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with 1–3+ years of software development experience who is eager to grow into a broader engineering role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-quality applications using C# and .NET.
- Support modernization efforts by migrating legacy applications and automation tools to modern .NET technologies.
- Develop and maintain SQL databases, write complex queries, and support data integration across enterprise systems.
- Configure and support Windows servers, networking, permissions, services, and remote administration.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other enterprise platforms.
- Create automation solutions using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues while documenting solutions and system changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable software solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET development on Windows platforms.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, including query development and database design.
- Knowledge of Windows server administration, networking fundamentals, Active Directory, permissions, and system services.
- Experience integrating applications through REST APIs, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting languages for automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAD application automation or engineering software APIs.
- Experience administering Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI.
- Experience automating Microsoft Excel or working with COM Interop.
- Background supporting manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools into software engineering workflows.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure, or SQL-related certifications.
