Software Development Analyst – Enterprise Integrations

Position Overview

The Software Development Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise system integrations. Working with business and technical teams, this role delivers secure, scalable integration solutions that enable reliable data exchange between business applications and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs, SOAP web services, and system integrations.
  • Build integrations using API, event-driven, messaging, and file-based technologies.
  • Develop cloud-based integration services using Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Create data mappings, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing, and support SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, data synchronization, and API performance.
  • Ensure integrations comply with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Deliverables

  • Integration designs and technical specifications.
  • API and interface documentation.
  • Data mapping and integration workflow documentation.
  • Developed and tested integration components.
  • Test plans, test results, and deployment documentation.
  • Operational support documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Status reports and other project documentation as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and system-to-system integrations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure integration services, including Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, data mapping, and data transformation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, Microsoft Entra ID, and secure integration practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, API security, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating enterprise business or operational systems.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cloud transformation projects.
