Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the Position

We're supporting an early-stage, venture-backed software company that's transforming how distributors and manufacturers process customer orders using AI.

Their platform automates the extraction, validation, and entry of purchase orders into complex ERP systems, helping customers eliminate manual administrative work while significantly improving processing speed and accuracy.

As the company's first Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll work directly alongside the technical founder to build, architect, and scale a production platform that is already generating revenue and solving real-world problems for customers. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact while helping shape both the product and engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack software solutions across the company's AI-powered order processing platform.
• Develop customer-facing web applications that streamline order review, validation, pricing, and product matching.
• Build and maintain integrations with ERP platforms including Prophet 21, Epicor Eclipse, WhereFour, and other enterprise systems.
• Improve data synchronization pipelines, search infrastructure, and backend services supporting customer environments.
• Debug production issues, monitor system health, and deploy reliable solutions that minimize customer disruption.
• Collaborate directly with leadership to make architectural decisions, prioritize product initiatives, and drive technical strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while contributing to design documentation and engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and long-term support.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building production web applications.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and SQL.
• Comfortable developing in Python.
• Experience integrating with enterprise software, APIs, databases, or legacy systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and maintain live customer applications.
• Experience owning projects from design through deployment.
