In Markets Post-Trade Technology we support all business units in Danske Bank with post-trade capabilities when they trade securities. Our main stakeholders are Markets and Investor Services – 2 areas who have major ambitions in the Bank’s Forward ’28 Strategy.

Are you ready to be part of our journey to deliver efficient back-office IT solutions to support our business and customers? As a member of our Securities and Fund Settlement team, you will collaborate with software engineers and business analysts across three countries, working on advanced systems for processing securities and fund settlements.

Join us on our journey from legacy systems to a modern .NET Core stack and cloud-native technologies, designing solutions that automate and streamline the settlement process. You will have the opportunity to develop using AI in an enterprise setup and get experience in how AI can be used to improve your developer journey.

We value transparency, collaboration, and mutual support, working closely with stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes for our customers across the Nordic countries.

Please note: This role does not include relocation.

Your daily responsibilities include:

As part of the team, you will design, develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to drive the team's success and adopt best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and optimising RESTful APIs for integrations.
  • Managing data with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Containerising and deploying applications using Docker and AWS.
  • Monitoring production systems with Prometheus, ELK and Grafana.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code while adhering to SOLID principles.
  • Participating in code reviews and agile ceremonies.

You will also, contribute to evolving team goals and plans.

What we imagine you bring:

We seek a .NET developer with an interest in a complex business domain, with a passion for collaboration and continuous improvement. We hope you bring the following skills:

  • Strong expertise in C#/.NET and RESTful APIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Docker, Azure DevOps and Github for CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with integrating enterprise messaging systems like IBM MQ.
  • Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.

In addition, you should have excellent skills in writing clean, maintainable code and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
