  • DESCRIPTION**:

Plan and develop CNC programs for 3, 4, 5 axis machining center. Program

CNC machines using advanced cutting tools and technology. Design

fixtures for manufacturing the products. Programming, using primarily

Mastercam. Establish CNC programming Standard Work procedures as part of

the development of a virtual qualification system interfaced between

Mastercam, Vericut.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES**:
  • Develop new and improve existing machining programs using Mastercam.
  • Review existing machine practices for produceability and cost

effectiveness.

  • Provide shop support and operator training, as required.
  • As required, work directly with Machine Shop, Inspection,

Engineering, Planning to address concerns.

  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
