CNC Programmer

Mid-South Machine experienced CNC Lathe Programmer and CNC Mill Programmer for a job shop environment. This is a hands-on role involving (a) programming, (b) setup, and (c) machining.

Schedule and Work Environment

- Full-Time, on-site position

- Day shift (6:00am to 4:30pm)

- Climate Controlled Shop (Heat and AC)

- Job shop environment - variety of part types and quantities

Responsibilities

- Program CNC Lathe to print specifications

- Setup CNC Lathe to machine raw stock

- Machine parts to print specifications

- Perform daily preventative machine maintenance

- Maintain a clean work space around machines

Required Qualifications

- 5 years of CNC Lathe programming experience

- 5+ years of machine setup

- Ability to read and program from Prints, DWG, DXF, STP

- Experience with tolerances of at least +/- 0.001

- Experience with conversational controls

- Experience with multi-axis lathes

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Mastercam CAD/CAM software

- Experience with Okuma, Mazak, Mori

Compensation and Benefits

- $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
