Software Engineer

Goliaths just placed an ex-Two Sigma CTO with a newly formed prop trading firm and he's looking for hire 12 & 13 for his software team. The team is outperforming competing props & funds in equities and they are looking for two Software Engineer generalists to work in New York City on a hybrid basis.

Role:

Will involve building out end to end software involving services, as well as workflows and pipelines for the quant trading team.

Systems architecture design and implementation.

Essential skills:

BS in CompSci/ CompEng/ EE or similarly related field.

Extensive experience in Python (they will consider C++ and Java professionals, as long as you want to work on Python).

Good background in data engineering would be useful. Think databases, data ingestion and aggregation.

Familiarity with AWS (or similar cloud computing).

TC: $350,000-600,000 DOE. Base salary will be $225,000-300,000 with a bonus match that is guaranteed Y1.
