SYSTEMTEC is seeking a CICS SYSTEMS Programmer for a remote opportunity for candidates working EST hours.


Required Qualifications for the CICS SYSTEMS Programmer:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in application development, systems support, software testing, or a related technical discipline.


Required Technologies:

CICS Systems Programming role with knowledge of CICS applications, CICS Application programming, Cobol, CICS, VSAM, Endeavor, TSO, JCL, SYSVIEW, Omegamon

Running Sev 1 and Sev 2 – on the infrastructure side


Responsibilities of the CICS SYSTEMS Programmer:

  • Responsible for ensuring all systems programming decisions maintain the integrity of the overall systems infrastructure. Write or debug programs to maintain and control computer systems software, such as operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Provide technical and disaster recovery expertise for systems software


Work Location: Remote (subject to future business needs). Working EST hours.
