Experienced Software Engineer

We are looking for an Experienced Software Engineer to join the Software Division at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Working as part of a development team responsible for creating complex algorithms used in unique and advanced projects

• Developing high-performance software in C++ within Linux environments

• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Algorithm Engineers, Systems Engineers, and QA Engineers

• Supporting junior developers and providing solutions to complex technical challenges

• Taking part in the development of advanced radar and defense systems with significant operational impact

What we’re looking for:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or another exact science field – Mandatory

• At least 5 years of hands-on C++ development experience – Mandatory

• Familiarity with modern design patterns – Advantage

• Theoretical knowledge in physics and radar domains – Advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
