Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Hardware/Software Integrator. In this role you will support the software‑engineering lifecycle defined in the program Software Development Plan (SDP) by establishing, maintaining, and validating the interfaces and documentation that enable development teams to deliver integrated hardware‑software solutions.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of hardware‑software interfaces and documentation practices, with desired familiarity in C++, Perl, or Python. Must be a U.S. citizen; this position requires an Interim Secret government security clearance prior to start and the ability to obtain a Final Secret clearance. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of C++.
  • Understanding of the full software life‑cycle (design, development, integration, test, qualification).
  • Exposure to DevOps/DevSecOps concepts (CI/CD pipelines, automated builds).
  • Experience with Agile development environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical details into clear documentation.
  • Prior involvement in hardware‑software verification against documented requirements.
