DevOps Manager/ DevOps engeineer

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative DevOps Manager / DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable infrastructure, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery pipelines that support high-performing software development and cloud operations. This role is responsible for improving system reliability, accelerating software delivery, enhancing infrastructure scalability, and promoting DevOps best practices across the organization.

The successful candidate will build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and release processes while ensuring software is delivered efficiently, securely, and consistently. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, quality assurance teams, security specialists, cloud architects, and IT operations to streamline development workflows and improve overall system performance.

The role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. You will provision and maintain cloud environments, automate infrastructure management, configure networking services, and optimize computing resources to support highly available and resilient applications.

You will manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration technologies while ensuring efficient workload scheduling, scalability, resource utilization, and service availability. Responsibilities include monitoring production environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures that improve operational stability.

The position requires implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to provide real-time visibility into application performance, infrastructure health, and system reliability. You will analyze system metrics, optimize application performance, improve deployment frequency, reduce recovery time, and enhance service reliability through continuous operational improvements.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle by implementing DevSecOps principles, vulnerability management, identity and access controls, secrets management, compliance monitoring, and infrastructure security best practices.

The role also includes developing automation scripts, configuration management processes, disaster recovery strategies, backup solutions, and high-availability architectures. You will maintain technical documentation, establish operational standards, support incident response activities, and participate in capacity planning and infrastructure optimization initiatives.

As a DevOps Manager, you will also provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, establish DevOps strategies, promote collaboration between development and operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase deployment efficiency, infrastructure resilience, and operational excellence. Continuous learning, innovation, and adopting emerging cloud-native technologies are essential to supporting long-term digital transformation and business growth.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, and container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, or equivalent automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration, networking concepts, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
• Knowledge of security best practices, DevSecOps methodologies, identity and access management (IAM), vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure and production issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across development, operations, security, and business teams.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
