We are currently looking for an Embedded C++ Developer to join an innovative project within the defense sector in Liège, Belgium.
Your Challenge
As an Embedded C++ Developer, you will contribute to the development of advanced embedded software solutions used in mission-critical systems. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will design, develop, and optimize robust software while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C++.
- Develop high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code for embedded systems.
- Participate in software architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Analyze and resolve software defects while continuously improving system performance.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote software development best practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in (Applied) Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development with C++ as the primary programming language.
- Strong knowledge of C++98, C++11, and C++14/17.
- Experience with embedded software development in Linux or real-time environments is highly valued.
- Experience with debugging, software integration, and testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is an advantage.
- A Master's degree and knowledge of C++20 are considered strong assets.
- European nationality or citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the projects.
- French is a strong advantage; English is required.
