General Summary
Main Responsibilities
- SW program/code/script development in Qualcomm Platform.
- Analyze the power/performance bottleneck of mobile platform.
- Provide advice and co-work with other teams to improve the power.
- Take part in the system level design from the beginning to achieve better power.
- New feature/requirement estimation, development, validation, and release.
- Co-work with internal global Tech teams, PM teams, and CE teams.
- Co-work with Chipset team to do power projection/Analysis/Optimization.
- Descript/Analyze/Solve power issue/problem from SW and HW side.
- Be responsible for studying and observing frontier technical and research of Mobile.
- Collect logs / RAM Dump and track issue/problem resolved.
- Demonstrate programming skills in C/C++/Python.
- Rich experience in Linux and Android driver development.
- Strong knowledge of Mobile architecture, including CPU, GPU, Memory and peripherals.
- Strong knowledge on Linux kernel development - CPU Sched, Frequency DCVS, BW governor, CPU LPM and drivers.
- Mobile Game Performance and Power optimization experience.
- Basic knowledge of digital and analog circuits.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
- Project leadership experience.
- Master’s degree in CS, EE or equivalent, 2+ years’ experience.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
- High passion to achieve better performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
