The CoreTech team designs, develops, and delivers high-quality, leveraged software components and solutions that power Adobe’s products and services. CoreTech’s technology areas include image processing, color management, graphics and print systems, fonts, PostScript parsing, PDF libraries, MS Office (EMF) integration, graphics formats, and metadata technologies.

Responsibilities:

• The engineer would contribute extensively to analysis, design, and programming for major and dot software releases.
• The engineer would get an opportunity to learn file format technology and contribute in building the foundational

libraries that parse, validate, convert, optimize, and ensure compatibility of file formats across Adobe products.

• The role would require close collaboration with internal teams to evaluate and resolve new features to be added.
• You would be a specialist on one or more platforms and knowledgeable of cross-platform issues, products, and

customer requirements.

• You would contribute significantly towards the development and application of sophisticated concepts, technologies,

and expertise within the team.

• Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs, and creative problem solving.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science/IT with minimum 2+ years of development experience.
• Strong C/C++ coding background.
• Strong C/C++ debugging skills
• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of object-oriented design.
• Should have excellent computer science fundamentals
• Platforms: Windows, Macintosh, iOS, Android, Linux
• Tools: Visual Studio, XCode, GCC, CMake, Android Studio, git
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Bonus skills:

• Can quickly contribute to parser, serialization, and interoperability work.
• Knowledge of Web Assembly.
• Knowledge of AI/ML.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and Python.
