Your tasks
- Lead customer proof of concepts (PoCs) for R&S DPI and Probe prospects
- Provide expert 3rd-level technical support for R&S Probe customers
- Optimize R&S network probe integrations for performance, detection accuracy, and runtime stability
- Create and maintain customer coding examples in C running on Linux systems
- Build and maintain custom R&S network probe deliverables using CMake, Buildroot, and bare-metal toolchains
- Develop customer-specific technical training programs and enablement materials
- Conduct technical seminars, customer training, and trade show demonstrations
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree.
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, System Engineer or Application Engineer
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Rust
- Deep understanding of packet processing in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with IP probes, DPDK, Netfilter, and Docker-based deployments
- Proven ability to integrate SDKs into routers, SD-WAN platforms, 5G network functions, and other firmware-based systems
- Strong expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production-hardening of network analytics or DPI integrations
- Experience creating reproducible build pipelines and platform-specific builds for embedded/network environments
- Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%

The total compensation for this position is $120K-$180K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
