You will be the Software Engineer Embedded for the Embedded Software team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded C/C++ software that powers critical missile and fire‑control systems.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Software Engineer Embedded you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality embedded solutions that meet demanding mission requirements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop and integrate embedded software components and algorithms into C/C++ applications.
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities across the product lifecycle.
  • Design, document, test, and debug software that implements logical and mathematical solutions for mission‑critical problems.
  • Apply deep knowledge of computer hardware and system architecture to create robust, performant code.
  • Identify and correct program errors, produce operating instructions, and maintain comprehensive development documentation.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with various embedded software communication protocols (RTI DDS, gRPC, RS-232, I2C, Canbus, RS-485, CanOpen, or similar protocols).
  • Experience with software development through different phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience with Python programming and bash scripting.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Git, and automated testing.
  • The candidate must have a growth mindset with a strong ability to learn quickly.
