Summary:

Develop, verify, and support CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and process improvements for manufacturing operations using Mastercam, including post processor development and optimization.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university, or High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience
• Minimum of 2 additional years of manufacturing or operations experience
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Mastercam CNC programs
• Experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting Mastercam post processors
• Experience programming and supporting multi-axis milling, turning, and/or grinding operations
• Ability to verify CNC programs before release to production using Vericut
• Experience troubleshooting CNC machining processes and supporting shop floor operations
• Ability to create and maintain CNC workstation instructions

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Mastercam programming experience
• Experience with Vericut
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Experience with CNC tooling and fixturing
• Project management experience
• Strong problem-solving and manufacturing process improvement skills

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam
• Develop, edit, test, and optimize Mastercam post processors to support production and improve machine performance
• Program multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding applications
• Verify CNC programs using Vericut prior to production release
• Support Manufacturing Engineering with CNC programming and machining processes
• Train operators during new machine startups, rebuilt equipment launches, and process improvements
• Provide daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support to production
• Develop and implement tooling and fixturing solutions
• Create and maintain workstation instructions for CNC operations
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery
