Title: Senior C++ Software Developer

Location: Boca Raton, FL (4 days/week onsite)

Duration: Full Time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building the next generation of enterprise software — a platform trusted by some of the world's largest organizations to secure and streamline how their people work. At the core of our product is a highly customized, large-scale browser engine, and we are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to go deep into that codebase and help us solve real enterprise problems.

You will be part of a focused R&D group that owns features end-to-end: from research and architectural design through to production. This is hands-on, high-impact work on a codebase that very few engineers in the world ever get to touch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Dive deep into a large, complex open-source browser engine codebase to research, design, and implement enterprise-grade features
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features — from initial research and architecture through to shipping and production
  • Collaborate closely with product, web development, security, and field engineering teams
  • Engage directly with enterprise customer challenges and translate them into robust technical solutions
  • Work across Windows, macOS, and Linux in a true multi-platform environment

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 6+ years of hands-on low-level software development in C++ or C, ideally using modern standards (C++17/20)
  • Deep understanding of systems internals — OS concepts, memory management, process and thread models
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate, understand, and contribute to very large, unfamiliar codebases
  • Experience building large-scale, real-time, multi-platform applications
  • Strong low-level design instincts and the ability to reason about performance and correctness simultaneously

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with network protocols and network topology — TCP/IP, TLS, proxies
  • Understanding of browser security concepts: sandboxing, content security policy (CSP), certificate handling, site isolation
  • Prior experience with the Chromium codebase or browser extension development
  • Academic or industry research background in operating systems, compilers, or computer architecture

WHO THRIVES HERE

You do not need to have built a browser before. What matters is that you are the kind of engineer who has always been pulled toward how systems actually work — someone who read OS internals for fun, who gets excited when they have to trace a bug through three abstraction layers, and who finds large codebases energizing rather than daunting. If you were a STEM kid who taught yourself to code before anyone told you to, we want to meet you.
